5th Plenary Meeting | Thessaloniki

On September 18-19th Z-BRE4K partners met in Thessaloniki, Greece, for the 5th plenary assembly of the project.

This time, debate within the consortium was mainly in view of the launch of Z-BRE4K demonstration activities (WP6), which will see the involvement of project use cases – Philips, Sacmi-CDS and Gestamp – in the integration of Z-BRE4K solutions in their production systems (TRL 7).

To this end, technology providers presented their developments in the definition of those solutions – HW and SW components, maintenance strategies and methodologies – forming the Z-BRE4K framework that will significantly improve life-cycle performance of the manufacturing lines of companies. These developments will notably have a sound impact on in-service efficiency, accident mitigation’s capability and sustainability of the manufacturing industry contributing to the reduction of production costs and waste.

In the same days, two workshop sessions were held by CRIT and INNOVALIA. The first one aimed at assessing predictive maintenance needs of companies, by interviewing directly use cases’ maintenance and technical managers, while the second one  defined standardisation and customisation of Z-BRE4K modular solutions.
